Doer vs be-er

It’s interesting to note how my mother is a ‘doer’
She enjoys being a loner and says that she can’t relate to others – most people don’t understand her or think the same way she does. She is above them ; smarter, more cultured, more experienced.
Therefore she does not ‘be’ with most people. She does for them. Gets their house sold, gets their child or family member a job etc and then they often forger this favour she did for them that saved their lives. She is a doer and doesn’t fit in.

I find that I too can be a doer and want to change that. I want to be a ‘be-er’
I want to be with people fit in with them and be part of their everyday lives rather than a momentous occasion in their lives. But I also need to friends who love Broadway and the sea and adventure like I do.
